Sinking in a web hosting ocean

One thing that I am pretty tired of is web hosting. There are so many factors about web hosting that takes age to sort through and I really hate. A recent article I read really highlighted some of these facts.

There are major gaps in web hosting. Some places will do you great hosting for $30 a year whereas other places will not offer such a good service for the same price monthy. Some of them will offer even better services than this until you relise its a con and chances are they will never reply to your emails. Good hosts will reply within 48 hours. I've been waiting for nearly a year for my reply from www.asp-world.co.uk.

As I browse the random sites accross the net, I found this article on SitePoint. I found the article great as it highlighted some excellent points about web hosting. After finding the article again to write this article I relised the guy who wrote it was 15. That pissed me off.

The point is I used to wonder why everyone went for all the big webhosts like Geocities and Lycos. Their prices are expensives and their services are easily beaten. But it would be so much easier. You know they are a good host, a stable company and everybody else uses them.
